Every project begins with a quote that has survived for several thousand years or several decades because people still identify with it. Our creative process is about turning that sentence into a graphic, an interpretation, a work of art, and leaving enough space within it for everyone to still find their own meaning.
Ideas have never stood still. Their interpretations are subjective and change depending on perspective, time, and many other factors. Our projects work exactly the same way. We don't ask anyone to arrive at the same interpretation as we do. Even though at school we are taught that every work of art has one true and correct interpretation. That's not true. Every work of art has infinitely many.
By wearing our designs, you invite others to interpret them, engage with them, and make them their own. Whether you choose to share your interpretation is entirely up to you.
